5th May '08: New Beer Offering

Formerly known as the Alternator, the Altbier is our yummy take on a beer style that originated in the Dusseldorf region of Germany. The Northampton Brewery style is a Sticke Alt, this beer is a deep copper color, full bodied and generously hopped. This beer achives a nice balance between the nutty sweetness of the malt and the bitterness of the hops. It has the flavor complexity of an ale (which it is), the Nobel hop bouquet of a pils and the smooth finish of an Octoberfest. Come and enjoy one while it lasts!
